Mo Berrouet is a multidisciplinary artist and curator based in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Her work explores themes of mental and physical health, personal narrative, and the complexities of the human experience, expressed through a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, ceramics, and photography.
A 2025 graduate of West Chester University’s BFA program in Studio Arts, Berrouet completed her studies summa cum laude, earning the Kaye & Robert McKinney Painting Scholarship and the Ready to Succeed Scholarship throughout her academic career. Her thesis exhibition, The Intricacies of the Human Experience and How It Affects Mental and Physical Health, showcased her deep commitment to exploring the intersection of emotional vulnerability and artistic expression.
Berrouet recently served as a Curatorial Intern at The Delaware Contemporary in Wilmington, DE, where she assisted with exhibition planning, installation, and artist engagement. She also contributed original writing, including artist biographies, for upcoming institutional publications. Her practical experience includes art handling, packing, installation, and working collaboratively with curators and artists across disciplines.
Her artistic practice is informed by a strong foundation in both traditional and contemporary techniques, including oil and acrylic painting, film and digital photography, and exhibition design. Berrouet is passionate about creating accessible, relevant cultural experiences and continues to grow her curatorial voice through hands-on involvement in public programming and gallery work.
As a resident artist at The Delaware Contemporary for ARC 26, she is committed to fostering connection through art, and to amplifying stories that resonate across personal and collective experiences.
